"When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathe′a, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus. He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him. And Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn in the rock; and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed." O sacred Head, now wounded,
with grief and shame weighed down,
now scornfully surrounded
with thorns, Thine only crown.

Today, on Good Friday, we remember Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins. We will have our service commemorating the Crucifixion of Our Lord at 2:15 PM and our Good Friday Lovefeast service at 7 PM this evening.
