What are worship services like?
Worship services at Calvary are traditional and consist of a combination of liturgy (responsive written prayer forms), a rich tradition of hymns and choral music, prayer, scripture readings and sermon. Sermons seek to help the worshiper discover the relevance of faith and its practical application for daily living.
Worship services often include the two Sacraments of the Protestant faith: Baptism and Holy Communion. In our community anyone who believes Christ is Lord is welcome to receive Holy Communion whether they are a member or not.
How do people dress for worship?
It varies. Some of our members dress more formally while others come in casual attire. You will feel welcome at Calvary no matter what you wear.

Where do I enter the church if I want to come to a service?
If you are coming for worship, the best way to enter the church is through the front entrance located just off Holly Avenue.
Where is parking provided?
Sunday parking is available in the GMAC lot directly across from the church on Holly Avenue and in the Arts Council parking lot at the corner of Poplar Street and Holly Avenue. A few parking spaces are provided in the lot behind the church and along the side of the playground area. A handicap entrance may be accessed from the back parking lot off Poplar Street where there is an elevator serving all three floors of the building. There is also on street parking on Holly Avenue and a more limited number on Poplar Street.
What about child care?
We have a nursery for children under three. We also have a Godly Play a program for children ages 4 years through 2nd grade that allows our young youth to explore and reflect on the Bible in a child centered environment. Children are involved in storytelling, worship and imaginative play. During the opening hymn these children are invited to leave the sanctuary to attend Godly Play.
